Best not in terms of quality, but the commercial acceptance, and the cultural relevance that it has attained. As the year winds down, he’s ending on a high with two records ‘FIA’ and ‘Like dat’.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (born 16 July 1990) also known as Wizkid, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He started recording music at a tender age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five, a group he and a couple of his church friends formed. NIGERIAN pop star, Wizkid, has become the first Afro-pop artiste to appear in the Guinness Book of World Records. This is as a result of  his contribution to Canadian rapper, Drake’s smah hit, ‘One Dance’, which topped various charts worldwide.

Although the song is technically Drake‘s single, Wizkid has songwriting credits for the ‘One Dance’ which has the Guinness World Record as the most played song on Spotify with more than one billion streams. The 2018 edition of the Guinness World Record named Wizkid in it’s most recent book and he has started 2021 in style which earned him the top spot in the list of top 10 best musicians in Nigeria 2021.
